Frequently asked questions

Which UPS uses the SYPM25KD?

Symmetra PX 250kW and 500kW 400/480V systems (10 or 20 modules).

Is it hot-swappable?

Yes. Symmetra power modules slide in and out of the frame.

Does it have a warranty?

Yes. Power modules carry a 1-year GreenlightUPS warranty, and each one is tested before it ships.

How does the core exchange work?

When sold individually, the module ships with a return label and you send your old module back to us as a core. To keep your old module, ask about buying this one as a spare for an additional price.

Can you install it?

Yes. Our technicians service Symmetra systems nationwide, with same-day and next-day service available.

Is the SYPM25KD new?

Yes. It's brand new, in its original serialized box, and tested before it ships.

Will it fit a Symmetra PX 40kW or 80kW?

No. Those 208V frames use 10kW SYPM10KF modules. The SYPM25KD is for Symmetra PX 250–500kVA 400/480V frames, which are built from 25kVA modules.

What other parts do you stock for Symmetra PX 250/500?

The SYMIM6 intelligence module, plus service and installation by our in-house technicians nationwide. 24/7 emergency response is available to contract customers.
